CHEER, Inc.
CHEER, Inc. (formerly known as Sussex County Senior Services, Inc.) was formed as a non-profit organization dedicated to serving the seniors of Sussex County, Delaware in 1971. Originally set up to provide a nutritious, hot mid-day meal for the 'seasoned citizens' of the county, the agency has expanded and diversified with programs and services that support healthy and active lifestyles for people 50 and older. CHEER is the leader in the field of aging services, touching the lives of thousands in and around Sussex County.
CHEER has become, for many, a member of their extended family, helping with meals, routine household chores, errands and local transportation. The agency helps keep that vital healthy lifestyle for seniors through socialization in its seven activity centers, educational events, health and fitness programs. There is also an adult day care center for those that need day-time assistance, but are not capable of being home alone.

Wheels For Meals
2022 is the 12th year for CHEER's Classic Car-Truck-Bike Show.
Each year has brought a very wide variety of vehicles from such familiar manufacturers as Ford Motor Company and General Motors to the exotic such as Ferrari, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, etc. and many in between. We have even had an antique French fire engine at the show.
Along with mingling with the owners of some very exotic vehicles during the show, there is also a gourmet champagne luncheon available, during which, attendees get to view an extensive indoor display of motoring memorabilia.
Whether you bring a vehicle to show or come to see the many wonderful vehicles and talk with their owners, you help support the many programs benefiting the 'seasoned citizens' of Sussex County, Delaware.
